The
cottage is adjacent to the main house, standing in extensive wooded grounds
and was originally the stable block, now converted to a comfortable, well-equipped
family house.
This
accommodation consists of: a large sitting room (with open fire and colour
television), kitchen (with electric cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher,
deep freeze, microwave, food processor and telephone), utility room (with
washing machine and tumble dryer), lavatory, and one downstairs single
bedroom. Upstairs there are two single bedrooms, one twin bedded room,
one double bedded room (with shower room en-suite) and a bathroom.
The
cottage is centrally heated and has french windows opening from the sitting
room onto a patio with large open garden beyond.There is ample parking
in front of the house. 
All
bed linen is provided. If you require towels we will ask for a £25
deposit. The cottage is cleaned and beds made up for your arrival. A welcome
pack of fresh provisions (bread, milk, eggs, tea, coffee) is provided.
Guests
must leave the cottage clean at the end of their stay, reporting any damage
or breakages. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Portree
is the 'capital' of Skye and an excellent centre for excursions. Portree
has two supermarkets, as well as a baker, butcher, wholefood shop, bank,
post office, churches, chemist, newsagent, hospital, swimming
pool, and a variety of other shops.
Elsewhere
on the island you can find: golf, fishing, boating, hill-walking, rock-climbing,
diving, pony-trekking, castles, brochs, museums, potteries, craft shops,
beaches, and of course, breathtaking scenery.
Self
Catering is available in the cottage on a Saturday - Saturday basis throughout
the year and the prices range from £450 - £650 per week.
